trained at Glasgow School of Art and then followed a well worn path
to teaching where he became Head of Art and Design in King's Park
Secondary School in Glasgow. However, since 1997 he has been a full
time professional artist. Much of his painting is inspired by his
regular trips to Mallorca and Italy, which provide him with a ready
contrast to the scenery of his native Scotland. He has featured in
a BBC production of "Passport to the Sun" sketching on the
island of Mallorca. He has exhibited at the RSW, RGI and PAI and regularly
has work on show at galleries in Scotland and England. |
