Although
Barry attended a brief course at Duncan of Jordanstone College of
Art and was tutored by McIntosh Patrick, he is mainly self taught
and enjoys painting in watercolour, gouache and acrylic.
Wild
life is a great interest and influence and Barry once worked as
a taxidermist for three years. He is currently painting heraldic
crests for Collins Crystal in Blairgowrie.
Barry’s
paintings are in private collections throughout Britain, France
and the USA. He has exhibited in Dunkeld and Pitlochry Theatre with
considerable success on many occasions.
